State scientific-research  institute of  hydrodevices is a main enterprise in Ukraine in acoustic and hydroacoustic technique.

During 50 years of work, the institute has got a considerable scientific-technical experience based on results of accomplishment of more than 300 scientific-research and development works, participated in several dozens of ocean  and polar  expeditions, organized a serial production more than 35 hydroacoustic and radiohydroacoustic products, systems and  complexes.

Seven systems, created by the institute, were awarded the State prizes. The designs of the institute are widely used in Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, France, China, Vietnam and other countries

• Airbone sonobuoys and systems
  
• Positioning hydroacoustic means and systems
• Radiohydroacoustic systems of sound speed measurement in water
• Hydroacoustic equipment and fishing control systems
• Hydroacoustic transdusers and arrays of wide range of frequencies, powers and conditions
• Technical equipment of acoustodiagnostics  including inside pipe diagnostics
